Another solo episode with Masabata. Join Masabata this week as she talks about the importance of making personal time to spend with God and making time to show up for God’s people. She reflects on how she has made excuses for not making time to spend at God’s feet in the busyness of life and working to change that. Though life can get busy, it’s always important to set aside some time for God daily. The most important commandments are to love God and to love His children. One simply cannot exists without the other nor should we try to substitute one for the other. It is important to make time for God and His children simultaneously. She talk about facing how freeing it has been, being able to simply let God be her protector, as someone that used to be highly paranoid. She shares some instances where she has let the fear of others win over what the Spirit is telling her to do. As we have recently been confirmed at the methodist church, we decided to have a special episode this week. We read our favourite scriptures and talk about what they mean to us respectively and how we personally interpret them.
