Today we’re talking with my good friend Rick Terwilliger. After weathering the ever-present mist wall in portland Oregon I moved south to Grants Pass, OR where my family still resided. There in this small Christian town, I discovered.. a ZEN CENTER???
Growing up in the hills of southern Oregon as mentioned in other episodes, was a mix of 70% Christianity ideals and 30% remnants left over from the pot-smoking hippies of the ’70s… but zen… zen was unheard of in this little town.
Rick a lifetime practitioner created Merging Rivers zen center to help share the message of mindfulness meditation with this small community.
