Serena Parry joins me today to dive into the world of Ayurveda. Serena is one an incredible Ayurvedic Practioner, studying extensively to become one of the highest qualified practitioners of this medicine outside of its birthplace in India. Serena has studied with Deepak Chopra,in fact, he was the one to introduce her to the power of this medicine and the possibilities for our health  this centuries old medicine offers. Serena shares with us her journey through healing her chronic and persistent physical and emotional health issues through Ayurvedic and the passion she has for sharing this medicine through her work. 

I want to share part of Serena's story here....

" Just a few years ago I suffered from a myriad of health issues including debilitating anxiety and depression, IBS, reflux, eczema and chronic allergies.

I knew I wanted a better life – one without chronic health issues but had no idea how to go about it. Both of my parents also died at a young age so I knew that I didn’t want to end up like them! It wasn’t until I found a holistic health system when I went to a workshop at the Chopra Centre in California that my life completely changed. In just 6 short months of studying this system of Ayurveda and implementing the principles into my life,  I was able to rid myself of ALL of my chronic health issues and was off the prescription medication doctors said I would be on for the rest of my life.

I realised through this, that all of these “solutions” were to treat the symptoms rather  than the root cause of what was going on for me – and that’s where this unique system came in and changed my life. Since then I have gone on to study personally with Deepak Chopra and am lucky enough to be one of his only certified instructors in Australia.  These teachings essentially saved my life and so I sought out the best training in the world so that I could support others to overcome their health challenges as well."
