OpenAI has launched Canvas, a new interface for ChatGPT that allows users to collaborate with the AI on writing and coding projects. Canvas functions as a separate window where ChatGPT can provide suggestions, edit text and code, and even rewrite entire sections. Users can then manually adjust the AI’s output by adding emojis, changing code, or modifying the length of the text. Currently in beta, Canvas is available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users and will be released to ChatGPT Free users once it’s finalized.
