Do we only Worship and Praise God when things go as expected? When take such a posture, we display our worship is conditional.

In Praise and Worship, we do not presume we can carry God's presence into areas that go against His good will and purpose for our lives. Praise and Worship involves inquiring of the Lord and dancing before Him, even when He directs us on a different path than the one we’re on.
Today we again delve into the richness of Scripture, exploring passages illuminating the essence of our faith, the depth of God's love for us, and the blessing and importance of living from a place of ‘praise and worship’.
There are seasons where it is easier ‘ to rejoice’, and live this out than others. Sometimes, our worship will involve a sacrifice of praise.
Our passage of focus for today is 2 Samuel 6:11-22, illustrating the ‘benefit’ of sacrificial praise and ‘dancing’ in the presence of God.
In these verses, we will encounter the reality of loss in our choices and the hope and beauty of life-transformation realized through ‘sacrificial’ praise and worship, ‘before the LORD OUR GOD.
As we look to scripture together, let us embrace the lessons they hold for us as followers of Jesus Christ, along with transformative power of His presence, as we humble ourselves before Him.
