The veiled statues and images that we see today remind us of that mysterious absence of our Lord after His Death and before His Resurrection. But the veil that lies over us eventually will be removed, just as that absence was filled with the presence of the Risen Lord.

Any good coach knows you don't win football games just by playing in the last minute. The same is true of life. If we aren't "competing well" like St. Paul all throughout our Christian life, can we really be sure that everything will work out in the end? How is the Lord challenging us to do more, so that we may finish well?

This weekend, St. Genevieve Church celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the dedication of the church.

God is constantly calling to us. He persistently asks us to listen to Him. Are we willing to swallow our pride and listen to Him?

The best attitude is gratitude. But what does it mean to have real gratitude?

"The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones."
