For the Season 1 finale, Tony welcomes Robb Gilbear and Claire Parsons to the pod. Robb lives in Toronto and is the founder of Growth Habit, a coaching business that specializes in helping other coaches build their practices. Robb also wrote Die Before They Do. Claire hails from the UK and is the founder of CP Copywriting. 

In this conversation, the gang gets into their respective LinkedIn journeys and the challenge of maintaining balance and distance relative to LinkedIn while also relying on the platform to build a business. 

On this week's episode, Tony sits down with Christine Uri and Shaun Sethna, two attorneys who produce engaging content on LinkedIn for their robust and supportive networks. As someone who tends to lean into personal content hard, Tony appreciates picking the brains of pros who gracefully walk the fine line between professional content and things that some might characterize as more fit for Facebook. 

This episode gets into the guests' attitudes toward the platform and content creation, how they think about being on social media as members of a profession that generally doesn't engage much, and their tips for people considering getting more active on LinkedIn.

This week's conversation dives into a topic that's often painful—job hunting. Julie is a Customer Success Coach with Dooly, one of the strongest brands on LinkedIn, and she joined the company after using a relatively unique approach to LinkedIn to help transition from education to tech. 

In this episode, we unpack their respective approaches to the job search and how they've leveraged content on LinkedIn to build their brands, land roles, and support others in doing the same. 

This week, we also have a Hustle Corner segment featuring Dennis Geelen and The Author's Playbook. Dennis is a consultant, solopreneur, and author of four books. Most recently, Dennis published The Accidental Solopreneur, which I higher recommend.  It came out right around the time I released In The Creative Arena, and Dennis and I had the pleasure of doing an event together talking about our books. In this Hustle Corner, we get into how The Author's Playbook could help you finally turn that book idea into an actual book.  

This week, Tony sits down with two true leaders on the LinkedIn platform. Jahmaal Marshall is the founder of Listen Then Speak, which is the name of both his coaching business and his podcast. Pete Durand is the CEO of Cruxible Partners and the host of the Eating Crow podcast. During this conversation, the gentlemen get into what motivated them to start creating content, how they remain consistent, and how to engage in a healthy way. 

Tony has never climbed a mountain more intense than hiking up a very large large hill, but he's had a fascination with extreme outdoor endeavors for the last decade and has aspirations of taking  on meatier challenges in wild places. That's probably why he's such a sucker for wild content on LinkedIn, and Paul Watkins  and Tyler Schmoker are two men who post some of the wildest. A former pharmacist from Australia and an American security industry pro, respectively, they share a brand of personal development built on undertaking serious challenges in intense locations. From climbing some of the world's largest mountains to taking part in 100-mile-plus winter ultramarathons, these men push themselves to their limits and then share the lessons they've learned on LinkedIn. 

In this conversation, the gents get into some of their adventures, their approach to content creation, and the natural tension between a lifestyle that emphasizes disconnecting from day-to-day tech usage and posting consistently on social media.

They get into what led to their respective career leaps, how they came to discover the potential for LinkedIn, how they think about content creation (targeted vs general, personal vs educational), and how they're thinking about their next steps in life.
