I honestly couldn't bring myself in good conscience to ignore what is going on because at the end of the day, I am an African American woman. I wouldn't want anyone to ignore mine or potentially even my future child's suffering. It is not fit to be silent in the midst of suffering and I am no exception to the rule. However, I pray that everyone is doing ok and if you are involved in the current uprising, you are one of the people that are peacefully protesting.
