My birthday is Monday and I just want you guys to know I won't take the week off and will still upload a new episode on Thursday per usual. There's not a lot going on so I decided to open up a dialog with everyone about Kyrie Irving and Renee Montgomery, two basketball players who are making stands for social change? But, are these genuine pleas for change or something else? Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Today's episode is not much but we all know it's because we are awaiting the return of sports in America (NBA, NFL, etc). But there are some bumps in that road to get there.

I watched the George Floyd funeral and I'd be lying to say I wasn't crying. His life was one of a million stories and I'm doubtful that things will change in a significant way. While I'm trying to be optimistic, I'm not right now and it may take some time for me to be. But in the mean time, there are some huge things happening, the XFL will be auctioned off, the NBA and the NHL will return, and the NFL is playing how to play football during a pandemic.

I honestly couldn't bring myself in good conscience to ignore what is going on because at the end of the day, I am an African American woman. I wouldn't want anyone to ignore mine or potentially even my future child's suffering. It is not fit to be silent in the midst of suffering and I am no exception to the rule. However, I pray that everyone is doing ok and if you are involved in the current uprising, you are one of the people that are peacefully protesting.

This is a legal beagle, meaning we are covering all the impending and ongoing lawsuits and criminal cases going on in the NFL and NBA. Of course, this is not completely comprehensive because they are some cases we don't know about because lawyers pay to bury the story and the Kawhi Leonard lawsuit just ended and there's no real info on what Leonard will do now that his copyright infringement case is over. In this episode, a couple of NFL players are in legal hot water in cases involving robbery and 2nd degree assault. Also, two NFL players are suing United Airlines over a stewardess sexually assaulting them during a flight! As always enjoy this episode!
