Sorry for the long wait, it's been a time, huh?

The boys are back in town to kick off Season 3 of the failed attempt at not podcasting known as In Oeuvre Our Heads. This time around... Breen It On.

Join us, if you dare, as we attempt to wrap our minds around the cinematic debut of Nevada's breakout star Neil Breen.

And while you're at it just take a look at this guy: Aaron's Neil Breen cosplay

I think we all discovered that we are absolutely Shyam-all-in on Mr. Movies Night Shyamalan. It's been a great time watching these films from a true auteur. Thank you for joining us on this journey from a fairy tale! We can't wait to see what Mr. Movies does next!

After reversing through the catalog, we've finally arrived at the very beginning! The nexus, the turning point, the Rosetta Stone, the crux, the genesis of M. Night Shyamalan. I don't have anything else to say. Does anyone read these? Does anyone read anything? Do I need a sandwich?

....

I need a sandwich.

You ever notice how some movies are called Wide Awake but watching it puts you right to sleep? You ever notice that? What's the deal with that? Like why call it Wide Awake when it should be called Honk Shoo Meemeemeemeemee? Like you don't buy popcorn and a soda with this one, you get yourself a chamomile tea and some fuzzy slippers at the theater for this one here.

Nah I kid, this guy's alright.

Ok, this is it. The Big One. The Ur-Twist. One of the principal reasons we're doing this season at all. The movie that made Shyamalan a household name. We've finally found it: the movie that unlocks what Shyamalan is all about (as opposed to the last 5 movies that we said did exactly that).

No spoilers, but if you think this movie got spoiled for you so you've never actually seen it (guilty as charged), think again.

MEEERRRRRYYYY CHRISTMAS!!! This is our biggest episode yet, with the most movie per podcast we've ever attempted! The original recording for this was over two and a half hours, so my Christmas present to you this year was getting this thing under one and a half. You're welcome! We know that what you really wanted to do this Christmas was listen to your favorite three-white-guys-with-a-movie-podcast talk about three movies, so we gave it our all. It released at midnight on Christmas Day; I wanted Santa to have something to listen to in the sleigh as he delivered all those presents. And something for the Grinch to listen to as he scooped up those presents and put them in his own sleigh.

Remember when we watched Glass and thought it was fun and interesting, and then when we watched Split we thought it retroactively made Glass worse? Well who'da thunk it, watching Unbreakable takes that to a whole new level.

Unbreakable is great, you should watch it.

Also this recording was 2.5 hours long, we got into a whole thing about Game of Thrones and then another whole thing about something else I can't remember. I'm sorry it's so late. There was a lot to edit lol.

Also also Zach is a dork

This week we meditate and reflect on faith, loss, grief, and yes I suppose how silly it is that they save the day with a couple glasses of water and a baseball bat.

Signs is kind of the Joker 2 of M. Night Shyamalan movies if you really think about it. Trust me, the signs are out there.
