The nation of Israel had been in Egyptian bondage for 430 years. God called Moses from a burning bush and sent him to lead the people out of bondage. God performed many miracles for the Israelites. But just after one month, they forgot the miracle. All of the people began to complain that God was going to let them starve to death.  We must receive our daily bread and God on a daily basis. God is teaching us to trust Him one day at a time. Sin and bondage are like a security blanket – but the end result is destruction. In the end, God knows what we are facing today. We must build ourselves up in preparation for these things.
