Do YOU know enough people to get a million members into a facebook group?
I know I don’t, and I would imagine our guest Danielle Askew didn’t think so either. Turns out, she would have been wrong. Starting as a way to make each other laugh, the Bin Isolation Outing group began with friends sharing photos of themselves getting dressed up in costumes to take their rubbish bins out - because during COVID19 our bins get to go out more than we do! Within one month it had turned into an international phenomenon, even being mentioned on the Graham Norton show, all driven by Danni’s belief that laughter is the best medicine. Thousands of people now take part in bin outings every day and the positivity the group has generated has been lauded by first responders all over the world. Not surprisingly this has been quite the steep learning curve for Danni, and she shares the incredible positives, and the unfortunate negatives that hosting a group like this brings.
Plus, Peita & Hayley chat about the danger in letting our inner critic get too loud, and provide some tips to ensure our inner negative voice doesn’t rob us of trully joyous experiences.

Have you ever secretly wondered if you could start an entirely new career? Going back to university to study and then starting again from the bottom rung of the ladder? Well, our guest Lisa Merton did exactly that, closing up her couture wedding gown business of 10 years to head back to TAFE to study graphic design. Not surprisingly, being a mature age student had its challenges, but Lisa persisted and discovered she had a whole lot of life skills that made her transition into her new career so rewarding a whole lot faster than she might have expected. Plus, Peita & Hayley chat about how when we hit middle age we can start to let our lizard brain trick us into thinking we are too old for certain adventures - and provide tips on how to move past this mindset.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to LIVE on a cruise ship? Travelling around the globe all year round? Well, our guest Helen & our host Peita were lucky enough to enjoy a trip on The World - which is basically an exclusive apartment block on the ocean. Their particular adventure occurred in and around the Faroe Islands & Iceland and in this episode they share their experiences both on and off the ship. Plus, Peita & Hayley chat about how we can go about using Google Maps as our venue research tool and awesome travel journal and for the Popcorn Adventures segment they talk about a movie whose main song is as famous as the movie itself and has spawned memes, mimics and even some experiments to test the validity of some of the lead character’s decision making. The movie we’re referring to is Titanic.

So you'll hear about real people, real adventures, and action oriented tips to get you dreaming, adventuring, and ultimately really living.
The main segment of the show is where we interview everyday people who have lived extraordinary adventures. The adventures we cover aren't just about travel, but include new things you might want to learn, experiences to have our even new careers to consider. Our aim is for these interviews to represent a very eclectic bunch of cool stuff you might want to add to your own dream list. We also include some practical tips to keep your action Hero skills sharp and throw in some movie reviews that might inspire other future adventures too.
