On this episode:
Deon, Josh, and I pick up where we left off from Part 1! Deon tries to get some family members on the podcast, but was unsuccessful so Josh and I discuss the situation with Henry Ruggs, Aaron Rodgers, and Kyrie Irving. Why is the black male athlete held to a different standard than the white male athlete?
RIP Young Dolph! We briefly talk about his unfortunate passing, but get into the bigger problem in why we preach Black Lives Matter, but we still experience black on black crime? Although the unjust killings of innocent black people at the hands of racists cops and white people is a cause for concern, there should be a bigger concern on why we are still killing our own people?
We then transition into fatherhood. Raising kids, how it is a blessing, and more. We are joined by Josh's daughter Gabby and my daughter Alanna for a quick interview.
All of this and more on In Tha Field Podcast!
Outro: Ye | 30 Hours

Recorded on September 4th via Zoom, cuzzo and I link back up for an album review on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, reconnect since our last session, and try to get back on track with putting out more content for the people! We start the show with talks of our chidlren, DJ playing football, Alanna’s birthday, and their growth. I then transition into television as my wife and I finally binged watch the hit TV show, Game of Thrones.
We finally dive into the anticiapted albums from Kanye West and Drake. Donda vs. CLB. Which album was better? Who was more petty?
Kanye West ft. Lil’ Yachty | Ok Ok
We then dive into CLB by Drake. Deon gives it a solid 8, but doesn’t like the fact that there are alot of features. I (Marcus), being very generous, gives him a 9. This transitions us into another GOAT, Kendrick Lamar who appeared on a feature track from Baby Keem called, family ties. Safe to say, Kendrick Lamar spazzed and has the world on notice after being super quiet and low key for a few years!
Finishing up our music conversation with new music and new artist we’ve been listening too, we get into the real world conversations surrounding COVID and how it’s still lingering around, people catching it with the vaccine, etc. It becomes to much at a certain point….
A few random things we discuss is the new Space Jam movies, Marlon Wayans stand up special, and more!
Intro: Drake | No Friends in The Industry
Outro: Drake | 7am on Bridle Path
We open up talking about our 1 year anniverasry! It’s crazy to think about where and when we started to where we’re at now! Shoutout to us for being 1 year in with many more to go! We ain’t going nowhere!
Thoughts on states opening back up, lifting mask mandates, and vaccinations. What did the pandemic teach you? Top 3 gangsta movies of all time.
