After a little hiatus, Phoenix comes back swinging with a combat sports pro, Susan Reno. Susan has been in the combat sports industry for over 20 years, having competed in Muay Thai and boxing both as an amateur and professional with over 25 fights. Susan shares how she went from bartending and partying to kicking and coaching. She shares her experiences at her professional fights, wins and losses that have made her a better coach.  As a cut person, she describes how she wraps hands for her fighters, and her style in the corner. Susan has been a long-standing second and chief second in Phil Nurse & the FDNY Bravest Boxing's fight camps and corners. Reno is among the few women in combat sports, certified as a second as well as a cut-person in the business of combat sports. From the gym floor to the locker room to the 60 second rest between rounds, there is never a shortage of compassion, drama, empathy, and comedy since 2002.
