Hereditary could have just been the story of a family navigating unimaginable grief, and that would have been enough. But that merely lays the foundation for what's to come in what many are considering an instant horror classic generating, most importantly, precious Oscar buzz around Toni Collette's gut-wrenching performance.
This week, I dive into some of Collette's best moments, a couple movie nuances Hereditary recalls for me, and the Ann Dowd moment we're all currently having.
Movies discussed:
Hereditary (2018)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
The Stepford Wives (1975)
Rosemary's Baby (1968)
Rachel Getting Married (2008)
