In Episode 8 of "In The Front Row with Mike Vaccaro" we catch-up with Voice of the Seattle Seahawks, Steve Raible. Growing up in Louisville, KY in the 1960's, Steve gravitated to football at an early age and carried that passion with him onto Georgia Tech where he was a wide receiver in a wishbone offense. His speed on the football field and the track caught the eyes of NFL scouts, and he was drafted by the expansion Seattle Seahawks in 1976 (instead of his boyhood team the Green Bay Packers). Raible would eventually be known as "the other Steve" playing alongside future Hall of Fame wide receiver Steve Largent. After his playing career ended, Raible's second career in broadcasting took off with a spot on the Seahawks' radio broadcast team and in the news room at KIRO7. In 2004, Raible became the "Voice of the Seahawks" calling three Super Bowls including the first franchise title in 2013. With his wife of 40 years, Sharon, by his side, Raible has been a fixture in Seattle. He shares all these stories, plus getting recruited by Lee Corso, getting knocked unconscious by Jack Tatum, calling Marshawn Lynch's "Beast Quack" run against the Saints and allowing Notre Dame's Rudy Ruettiger to become a household name.
