Warstic is a baseball bat company co-owned by Ben Jenkins, Jack White, formally of the band The White Stripes, and Ian Kinsler, an American professional baseball player. Ben and I talk about his sports and art upbringing that led him to college graphic design and NCAA sports. We dive into where Warstic came from, the meaning behind it and where the product is now.
Designing a surf board for rock icon Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) and what Native Americans and their history and culture influenced Ben's designs within Warstic. The company started as a baseball bat company and turned into a full fledge hard goods company creating its own line of surf boards, skate boards and baseball gear with the soon to be released fly fishing rods.
They are headquartered in Dallas, Texas. In 2016 Warstic bats were approved for use in the MLB league. www.warstic.com Warstic on instagram @warstic Ben Jenkins on Instagram @onefastbuffalo Warstic on Twitter @warstic #Warstic #MLB #baseball #eddievedder #benjenkins #jackwhite #battle
