Its easy to see why Superunknown not only helped solidify Soundgarden as one of the greatest bands of the 90's, but one of the greatest bands of all time. Soundgarden managed to knock 15 songs completely out of the park and into a completely different galaxy with this record. 27 years later, it still stands as one of the most amazingly, beautiful, haunting albums that was ever created. Come get lost in the Superunknown. First it steals your mind and then it steals your soul!
Rest In Peace Chris. We love you.

In the very first episode of "In The Garage" we cover Nirvana's debut album "Bleach". Released on June 15, 1989, most of the songs on the album feature lyrical themes dealing with life in Aberdeen, Washington. The album's sound is influenced by early Black Sabbath, and the music of local bands the Melvins and Mudhoney.
It remains the highest selling album in local label Sub Pop to this date.
