September is /has been National Recovery Month. In celebration/honor of that, Seth talks about what recovery (f/ addiction and mental health issues) is all about. He also shares a little bit on how addiction has touched his life……w/ a message for addicts/alcoholics still out there at the end of the ep.

This wk we’re talkin about the history of school lunches/National School Lunch Program (and the various forms it has taken f/ the 60’s to today.) We talk about the ultra processed-sugar/fat filled food that has been/still being served to kids @ school (particularly SPS) and how it has contributed to skyrocketing childhood obesity/diabetes.….and we talk a bit about how that correlates to a massive uptick in behavioral problems at school!

Up for discussion this wk—the alleged kidnapping of an SPS student (by 2 SPS teachers!)….what, if any, roll ‘Safe Space’ stickers played….and what this incident says about the environment in/around SPS!

We lay down ALL the facts on our’s (and the MEC’s) investigation(s) into Shurita Thomas-Tate….and the lies/deception/wrongdoing that we found! We also talk about how the SNL/Claudette Riley refuse to accept/report honestly about it.

We talk about the WAY overuse of standardized testing in public schools (particularly in SPS)….and how it is contributing to our kids not being taught the things that will help them function in the real world!
