The affable and generous Patricia Donegan, who's an ensemble member at Steep Theatre Co., and I spent some time chatting about her life in theatre.

Katherine Bourne is an actor, producer and teaching artist living in Chicago. In town, she has worked with Raven Theatre, The House Theatre of Chicago, Crew of Patches, and assisted in the Meisner classroom at The School at Steppenwolf this summer. Prior to her move to Chicago, she lived in Dallas TX, where she is a company member at Undermain Theatre. Her work as a producer for Shakespeare in the Bar and The Tribe contributed towards awards such as Best of Big D, and The Dallas Observer Mastermind Award (2016). Angela is an actor and arts accessibility advocate originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Previous Chicago acting credits include work with Chicago Dramatists, Pride Films & Plays, Something Marvelous, and The Comrades. Before relocating to Chicago, Angela worked Off-West End as General Manager of London's Finborough Theatre and performed in the 60-city national tour of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs with Dallas Children's Theater. She is a proud company member of both The Comrades and Jackalope Theatre Company where she serves as Director of Audience Engagement.

She has worked on projects with an array of Chicago theatre companies, including 20% Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, City Lit, Dandelion Theatre, Actors’ Gymnasium, MMPACT Solo Jams, Prologue Theatre, Three Cat Productions, The Residents, and Waltzing Mechanics.
