In The Loop

We are joined this week by Lily Sethre-Brink to discuss Greg Abbott's decision to stop the refugee resettlement in Texas. Listen to learn all about the technicalities of this decision and how you can get involved.

Unfortunately, the audio is not great thanks to a mic malfunction, but we are sure the great information makes it worth a listen!

If you're interested in helping with the work Lily is doing, contact [email protected] and we can connect you to her!

New episode is out! This time, we were joined by Krithika Shamanna, Celeste Biltz, and Allie Gonzales to talk about the issue of non-consensual pelvic exams. It’s an important topic, so please take a listen!

The In the Loop crew sat down with a senior from McMurtry College to discuss the 3 students who wore ICE Officer Costumes to Halloween Pub this year. They talked about immigration, the impact of ICE on Rice students, and how to be better bystanders.

On this week's episode, Connor and Chad sat down to talk about the more radical groups in our country and how media portrayal and censorship are closely related to how these groups are perceived, plus the interaction it has with the growing problem of polarization.

The InTheLoop crew is back with our first episode of the season! This time we sat down to talk about how the presidential primaries have been developing, as well as other related topics and events.

On our very last episode of the season, the whole family gets together to talk our very favorite episodes of the season and Leya and Nishanth get kinda sappy.

If you're interested in getting involved with International Justice Mission (or the podcast!) reach out to Lauren at [email protected].

We'll be back in September with all-new episodes!
