In The Mix with Reggie TheJazzman

It's raining outside....again. So why not just run with that? I'm chillin in the Mixing Lab letting the creative juices flow. With me it always comes down to feel. Today, the serenity, the mist, the light rain and my personal peace of mind intersected. Yep...I FEEL that...
This Is Respite, a breather. More relaxation for the mind, body and soul. Close your eyes, Let it soak in....it's time to Fade To Black.....

I've been holding onto this for a while...something summery, just in time for some warm weather, fun in the sun, island hopping, Pina Colada and all of that stuff. Traded the automobile in for a yacht, cruising with a twist.....VACATION STYLE!
My featured artist for this podcast is Eric Copeland from Player A. His lyricism and laid back style will certainly bring to mind someone who I'm sure you're familiar with. Just listen to that voice.....and drift away.
ENJOY THE MIX!

Just finishing up April and the JAM sessions (Jazz Appreciation Month) with a fresh podcast. I'm squeezing this one in....better late than never . ENJOY!!

April is proving to be a big month. The universe is granting many of us a once-in-a-lifetime experience....a chance to see a full eclipse. I happen to live right in the Path Of Totality so for right around 4 minutes I'll be covered to total darkness at 3 in the afternoon.
In addition, I'm having to make some huge changes in the way I create my podcasts and mix music. I wasn't quite ready for this monumental learning curve at this point. Hopefully with my new equipment I'm able to capture the same sound quality as you're used to. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think ... this is the first out of the new box. Be patient while I get my sound dialed in. Meanwhile....LISTEN, SHARE, DOWNLOAD and ENJOY!

This one is FIYAH from the start....I just happened to truly be in one of those 'cast your cares to the wind" moods so I did just that. It translated into some some pretty energetic cuts to kickstart the podcast. Soundwise, i optimized this one in the Mixing Lab. The audio really kicks in a vehicle with that crisp, airy, open road wind in your hair feel.  SO, hit the road and ENJOY! If you happen to get HAPPY FEET don't blame me for the speeding ticket!!

Life throws you curveballs but you have to stay at the plate, dig in and keep on swinging. This podcast is me connecting and sending the curveball SOARING. Techy issues with my toys along with just a busy daily schedule have kept me from putting out shows regularly but guess what?? PERSISTENCE BREAKS RESISTANCE! I'm stubborn so...here it is.
Lots of good music on here, it TRULY felt good to get this one under my belt.
The First...its special.
Certainly not the last!!
ENJOY!!
