In The Pilot's Seat

WE MADE IT TO 30 EPISODES! This week we cover the new Netflix original Dead To Me for our momentous 30th episode and we couldn't think of a more perfect show to do. As we breakdown the dark comedy pilot, we get into wild predictions as well as make our own CW-edition of the synopsis. Hilarity ensues as always.

Thanks to any of you who have stuck with us for 30 eps! YOU ARE NOT DEAD TO US.

BARNEY RUBBLE! Get your safe words ready because this week we're breaking down Netflix's sexhibitional show, Bonding! We follow BFF's Pete and Tiff (aka Mistress May) into enigmatic world BSDM culture. It's a quick one...quick like those burns Pete (aka Carter) nails at the end.

You definitely need to have an open mind for this one. Our minds are way open! Enjoy!

We've made the leap back to network, covering CW's In The Dark. We're into the freshness of this new show and die reading their synopsis of the show. We're also left with many questions, like what happened to Tyson, how did she and Jess meet, and more importantly...how does she have perfect hair EVERY DAY? Bless the blind.

This week we take a trip to the Polish forest to cover the Amazon Prime original, Hanna. The girls breakdown Hanna's sheltered life coming from a COVER Romanian Facility (that we later learn was supposed to be COVERT), her training, her discovery of periods, boys, and Snickers bars and the hilarity that comes with it all.

Gather all your nostalgic 2000's pop jams and take a trip with us back to the first day of 7th grade in Hulu's new comedy PEN15. We love the premise of these 30 year olds living their 13 year old lives with their 13-year old co-workers. It's genius. Stay naive, be awkward, and hopefully you were never the UGIS!

We make the leap to the NEXT streaming service this week, covering Hulu's latest hit - Shrill! As we breakdown the pilot, AJ can't quite seem to get on board with the show's title... but we are both on board with Fran's description of Mrs. Doubtfire. Also Ryan's podcast hit a little too close to home. Heart meets insecurities all in one comedic bubble. Enjoy!

We take the leap over to Amazon Prime this week to cover Kate Beckinsale in The Widow! We tear this one apart from the wonderful catalysts, the potential lesbian vibes, and the incredible music that allows us to not trust our own feelings. Hilarity ensues as always!

We're back for Episode 23, discussing [another] Netflix pilot, The Umbrella Academy. We dissect the pilot about this family with extraordinary powers and the drama that follows. Then the show goes off the rails at the expense of poor ol' Vanya. We can't be held accountable for our ignorance but it sure was hilarious to us. No regrets!

This week we're back with another Netflix original, Friends From College. We breakdown the pilot filled with a great cast but stuck figuring out if we like it for if it's even funny? AJ gives an early rating and sums up perfectly what this show is like using on-point food metaphors. Also, Ethan is the Ross of this show...the worst.

This week we're covering the latest Netflix hit, Russian Doll. In untypical fashion, we've stuck with just the pilot, leaving us to unpack all the various versions of Nadia's life (pun-intended); asking ourselves what's left for the rest of the season. We're left with questions, so many questions.
