Troy and I will be talking 'bout growing up in our home region on the Westbank of New Orleans from Old Algiers to Bridge City around the mid 1970's to the mid 80s! We are alumni of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. Troy was Class of '80 and I was Class of '82.

We're talking about some of the places that "Ain't there no more", the awesome Mardi Gras times as kids, Sports, hangouts when we were teens, the old Schwegmann's grocery stores, etc. etc.! Also, about hanging with our friends from back then AND we mentioned MANY names! LOL!! Needless to say a LOT OF LAUGHS are coming your way with Cotten's story telling! He is definitely an authority on "DA WANK"!

Uncle Pete is originally from Houston, Texas, raised and spent most of his younger life in the suburbs of New Orleans then returned to Houston later in life.

Uncle Pete is actually my brother in law and the brother of my wife Becky. We've known each other over 20 years. He works in the convenience store business in North Houston. Pete has a son and is the grandfather of 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Uncle Pete's formative years were in the 70s and 80s. He is a major music, sports and movies fan. Especially from that era which we discuss and he gives us probably the best Al Pacino/Tony Montana imitation I've ever heard before!! You're gonna love it!!

Uncle Pete is the greatest when it comes to having a buddy to watch the ballgame with, talk about old school music and sports. Hint: he's a big Cowboys (and the Saints, not sure how it does that!), Yankees, Lakers and LSU fan!

He will always keep it real and interesting along with many laughs for sure. So sit back and learn a little about Uncle Pete since we plan on him making guests appearances from time to time on my podcast!

Garcia a/k/a "Astro Joe"! Joe has a BS in Engineering Business from Texas A&I, an MBA from Texas A&M in Marketing and has various Microsoft Certifications. Joe has worked in the Real Estate Technology Industry for many years. He is a son, husband, family man, creator, entrepreneur, social media savant and an amazing Accordion and Lead Guitar player of the North Houston based Bayou Junction Band. Joe shares with us his family life growing up in the rural southeast Texas town of Falfurrias. He describes how his foundation of hard work was formed by working in several businesses owned by his family during his early and teen years, his impressive education journey with supportive parents that held him accountable, his jobs after college, how music became such an important part of his life, meeting his wonderful wife Lina and advancing in his entrepreneurial career.
