We're taking a trip back to Old Algiers, Louisiana, in the 1970s!

In this special episode of In the Pocket with JayBo, I'm joined by my good buddy Robbie Sanchez (Archbishop Shaw Class of 1983) for the first installment of my new series, "Growing Up on the Westbank in the '70s!"

From riding bikes around Algiers Point and visiting neighborhood stores to Mardi Gras parades on Opelousas Avenue, we bring back the places, people, and memories that made growing up on the West Bank so special.

Robbie shares hilarious stories about getting fired from the Snow Dome on his very first day, childhood adventures at Holy Name of Mary, Archbishop Shaw football memories, the Choctaw Riverboat Parade, and the wonderful sense of community that existed in Old Algiers.

And of course, there are plenty of laughs along the way!
