It almost felt too soon to laugh at this, but show runner Anthony Q Farrell has tackled this in such an unabashedly funny way, that you just can't help to laugh your ass off at this show.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with one of the stars of it all, friend of the show the one and only Andrew Phung to talk about getting on board for this ride, along with our usual obsessions like Physical Media and Vintage Wrestling Action Figures.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for Canadian Film Nerds.  Every April 15th we celebrate National Canadian Film Day and it's gone international.  With events and screenings all across the globe, there's never been a better time to celebrate our stories.

In celebration of this day, I had the chance to sit down with a Canadian icon who loves this day as much as we do and has been a big part of it's success.  We had a few minutes to talk with Colm Feore to ask him about the evolution of this event, how we can celebrate our stories and so very much more.

It takes a village to make a major motion picture....

On this special episode we dive head first into the brand new film playing now on Prime Video.  It's time for 'Pretty Lethal'.

Five ballerinas, on their way to a prestigious dance competition, are barely on speaking terms when their bus breaks down in a remote forest. With no other options, they reluctantly seek shelter at an unsettling roadside inn run by Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman), a reclusive former ballet prodigy. As the situation turns deadly, the fractured team must set aside rivalries and weaponize years of brutal training, turning grace, discipline, and even pointe shoes into tools for survival. 

'Pretty Lethal' is a meticulous cinematic experience as we slip into the point shoes of these ballerina as they kick all kinds of ass in order to survive.  We had the pleasure of sitting down with Editor Richard Smither who gives us some insight on the art of editing and making sure that the character is always staying strong in the midst of the spectacle.

On this very special episode we've got ourselves another genuinely lovely slice of cinema from New Zealand which is in theatres across Canada now.  It's time for some 'Holy Days'.

This truly a sweet road trip movie with the all star cast of Jackie Weaver, Judy Davis and Miriam Margolyes who know how to bring it on screen.  It's in theatres now and we had the chance to talk with writer/director Nat Boltt about the origins of the film, being on a "mission from god" with three all-star actresses and so very much more...

We're dialing it back all the way to 1986 on this episode as we dive into a cult classic that is going stronger now then it was when it was first released.  Join us in celebrating the 40th Anniversary of 'RAD'.

It's the story of one young man, Cru Jones (Bill Allen), who has the intensity and desire to win a BMX race called Helltrack.

It may have been panned by critics back in the day but years later this cult classic is still inspiring people to chase their dreams. 

'RAD" is back in theatres this March 22nd and 24th in select theatres (check your local listings) in celebration of the films 40th Anniversary and we had the pleasure to sit down and talk with Cru Jones (nee Bill Allen) and stunt man and BMX legend Eddie Fiola about their work on the film, the legacy of it all and it anyone can really survive Helltrack!

This is a gorgeous and emotionally moving documentary and we had the unique pleasure of sitting down with Director/Producer/Subject of the film Bui to talk about bringing this very personal project to the forefront and so very much more with this film on the brink of its world premiere....

With Captain Skinner' would be to compare our star Captain Skinner to something like Bob Ross...but while taking a bunch of drugs, riffing on some weird shit, crafting a visual love letter to the art of gore while oh by the way...flying through space.

Sloane (Olivia Holt)  and a small group of her classmates take cover in their high school to escape their suddenly apocalyptic hometown. As danger relentlessly pounds on the doors, Sloane begins to see the world through the eyes of people who actually want to live and takes matters into her own hands.

Adapted from the book by Courtney Summers, 'This Is Not A Test' avoids the trappings of your standard teen zombie horror flick to give us something a little more psychologically severe and grounded as these young people coming of age are confronted with decisions they never even considered in their lives until now.

We had the pleasure to sit down with writer/director Adam MacDonald to find out what drew him to the project, giving it more of a grounded tone, working with star Olivia Holt and so very much more.
