This Australian fire season the Government has pushed Volunteer Fire Fighters past, miles past the concept of volunteering your time to benefit your community.

Work that is an essential public service is work and should be recognised as such.

The shed applies loose understandings of "The Right-Wing Ratchet" "Trickle Down Economics" as a lens to view the exploitation of volunteer firefighters who at 100 days went past volunteering a while ago.
