In The Tunnel

In this episode of In The Tunnel, we return from our mid-summer hiatus to discuss updates in the MLB playoff picture, and who we would realistically root for if our teams were out of the equation.  We then switch over to the biggest league in sports that is finally back in action; the NFL.  We discuss the league's new guardian cap initiative, Tua's latest concussion and what we think his future should be, the new era of WR megadeals, the NFL's first adventure in Brazil and if the Chiefs are truly a team of destiny again in the 2024-25 season.

In this episode, we talk the new EA College Football 25 game that will be releasing in the upcoming weeks and what this means for the future of college sports games, the Bronny & LeBron dynamic for the Lakers and why it isn't necessarily a feel good story like with the Griffey family 20+ years ago, and now that hockey and basketball seasons are over, we slide into discussing some baseball for the first time this year (probably overdue).  We tackle problems with the Home Run Derby that probably are based on the desires of recapturing the nostalgia of our 30 year old brains and dive into the tight NL Wild Card race as well as the lack of one in the AL.
