  • In Awe Worship Inspiration Soaking Presence

Hey, so today’s session is all about standing in awe of Jesus. I just wanted to take a moment, in my mind’s eye, my imagination, and my spirit, to come before the throne of God and simply stand in awe of Him.

There’s a beautiful verse in Psalm 145 that says, “All creation will stand in awe of you, O Eternal One. They will not be silent. They will talk of the grandeur of your kingdom and celebrate the wonder of your power.” I just love that. Even if we don’t praise God, the rocks will cry out—there’s a scripture that says that.

So yes, our call is really to be still and come before Him. I often use my imagination to enjoy encounters with God, and I truly believe God gave us imagination for that purpose. One of my favourite verses is when Jesus says, “Unless you come like a child, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Children are amazing at using their imagination, and I think that’s a big part of what Jesus meant.

It’s not that we’re just making things up. I believe our spirits can connect with the Spirit of God. When we visualise, it’s not always just pretend—it’s a way of seeing. The Bible talks so much about the throne room. I love to imagine Father God on His throne, Jesus at His right hand, and the Spirit dancing around the room.

As followers of Jesus, we’ve been invited in—we’ve been purified, cleansed, and redeemed by His blood so that we can enter that throne room. We can stand before the incredible God who created the universe and be in awe of Him.

So today’s session is all about that. I really hope and pray that you can connect with Him, encounter Him, and experience His incredible glory, grace, and transforming presence.

  • Deeper Worship Live Soaking Ambient

Today’s session is all about going deeper. I love that verse in the Psalms where it says, “deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls.” I really feel that God wants to connect with the deeper parts of us.

Often, we live on the surface—in our relationships, in our emotions—and we don’t always tune in to what’s going on underneath. One amazing way to connect more deeply is by singing in tongues, or singing in the language of heaven. It’s where your spirit connects with God’s Spirit.

It bypasses your thoughts—it’s not about conscious thinking, but more about feeling and sensing. It’s deep calling to deep. It’s our spirit becoming entwined with God’s Spirit.

I find it such a privilege that we can connect with God like that. It refreshes my spirit and my soul, and even lifts my energy and emotions. I don’t always know exactly what I’m saying, but I know in my spirit that I want to go deeper, come closer, and encounter God’s presence in a deeper way.

So that’s our prayer for you today—that you’ll encounter God deeply. That it will touch something deep in your heart, deep in your soul, and deep in your spirit.

  • Presence Ambient Live Soaking Worship In the Wait

So today’s session is about quieting myself and simply enjoying that incredible, peaceful, held presence of God. As I stopped and began to enter into His presence, I fully believe His presence is with us all the time. But I do think there’s an attentiveness we can give to His presence — where maybe some of His glory is unveiled to us, maybe some of the walls around our hearts come down, and the barriers in our minds to experiencing Him intentionally start to fall.

Yes, sometimes we can even sense this physically, and we can become truly conscious of His presence.

Our prayer for you today is that you can be still, quiet your heart and mind, and enter into this beautiful, peaceful, held presence. As I was entering in, I was just picturing His face in my mind’s eye, simply enjoying the feeling of encountering the incredible Creator of the whole universe — and knowing He loves it when we take time to meet with Him.

That’s our prayer for you today.

Today's session is all about worship—giving God the praise He truly deserves. It's about saying, "God, you're worthy of it all. You're worthy of our praise, our attention, our affection, and our devotion."

It's also about the battle—the battle of life, the spiritual battle we're in. In worship, we take part in this battle in a really positive way.

My prayer for us today is that we keep engaging with the spiritual battle happening around us. While the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus said He came to bring life—life in all its fullness. And as we worship,

we are declaring His life, His fullness, His joy, His hope, His healing, and His restoration—over ourselves, our families, this atmosphere, and our community. In doing this, we’re standing against the enemy’s plan to steal joy. So my prayer is that you can truly join in as you listen and worship today.

  • Worship & Devotion In the Wait Worship

I thought today’s session would be about hope because I really felt in my spirit that there’s a lot of desperation at the moment - that we need to fix our eyes on God and place our hope in Him. But what actually came out was more about giving God our attention. That’s what I felt in the moment.

I just wanted to sing my lyrics again— You have my attention... I'm stilling myself so this heart connects with Yours… and I guess that’s a call for all of us, isn’t it? To take those moments to still ourselves, get rid of distractions, and just say, Okay, God, you’ve got my attention.

With that attention comes our affection and devotion. And because of that, I just wanted to worship, to praise Him, and to say, Wow, He’s so worthy of my worship, our worship, and our praise. Then 'You're *worthy of it all" * just seemed to pour out of my heart.

That’s our prayer for this session—that you can still yourselves enough to give God your full attention & in turn - the only thing you can do is praise!

  • Come to me - In the Wait Live Spontaneous Worship

    Hey guys,

Today's session was about coming to Jesus. I’m quoting the passage where Jesus says, "Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

This morning, as we were playing and worshipping, I really sensed that we can come to Him just as we are. His arms are wide open with mercy for us. If we come to Him and say, "God, I want to be with You, I want to spend time with You, I just want to enjoy Your presence," He welcomes us completely.

That’s the focus of today—I really pray and hope that you experience the amazing embrace of God as you spend time in His presence. The promise is clear: if you come to Him weary and burdened, He will give you rest. He takes our burdens upon Himself.

I encourage you to consciously cast your burdens on Him. As Scripture says, "Cast your burdens onto Jesus, because He cares for you." Whatever you’re carrying, whatever is weighing you down, give it to God. Say, "I hope in You, I trust in You, and I leave this in Your hands."

When things are out of our control, when we’ve done all we can, what an incredible promise we have—that we can surrender it all to Jesus. He is a good God. Even in disappointment and pain, even when we don’t understand, He is with us, and He works all things for good for those who love Him.

Be blessed today—I hope you have a wonderful time soaking in His presence.

  • Stillness - In the Wait Worship

    Find out more at https://inthewait.co.uk

    Hey guys,

Today, we've been focusing again on being still, waiting, and seeking the face of God. I've been doing some research on the original Hebrew words related to waiting, being still, and seeking God’s face. I came across something new in Psalm 25, where it says, Be still and know that I am God. Interestingly, the translation of being still actually means to surrender or give up. So, being still isn’t a passive act—it’s an active choice. It’s about saying, I choose to be still so that my spirit can truly know that You are God.

Life has been full on here, and I’m sure many of you have busy lives too. But the discipline of being still and praying, God, help me to be still, is so important. That’s one of the key prayers for today—Help me to be still so that I may know You are God. It’s about surrendering again, giving everything up, and acknowledging, God, I cannot do life without You. I cannot do my daily work without You. I cannot be a gift to the world without You. I need You to meet me in my weakness, in the moments where I struggle.

So right now, I choose to be still—to be still so that I know You are God. I really hope and pray this encourages you today. If you’re struggling to be still, I pray this will be a help to you, guiding you as you wait on Him.

And just as a reminder, the Hebrew word for wait actually means to be bound up or entwined with the Spirit of God. So, as we wait on Him, our spirit is renewed because we are entwined with Him.

    Blessings!

  • Here with us - Soaking Worship

Hey, so today’s session is something I’m working on personally—just learning to give God my full attention, to be still, and to wait on Him.

That’s really the focus of today’s session—just waiting with Him, waiting on Him, surrendering whatever comes to mind. That’s the whole premise of our devotion today: stilling ourselves so our hearts can connect with His.

    That’s the prayer.

  • Goodness - Soaking Worship Ambient Prayer

    Hi,

Today's session was so full of hope, and it was such a pleasure to dwell in the presence of God and sing about His goodness. I kept hearing this line in my head: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

After the session, I wondered where that came from in Scripture. I looked it up and found it in Psalm 27. That’s amazing because, just yesterday, a group of friends and I were focusing on Psalm 27, marvelling at it. It’s a psalm of David, written nearly 3,000 years ago, yet it still speaks so powerfully today.

When you feel like people are against you, when you're in turmoil, or when you're being accused of things that aren’t true, you can still declare that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I also want to share this beautiful verse from the psalm—verse 4:

"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of trouble, He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock."

That’s my prayer for you today. That’s our prayer for all of us—that we will know God’s presence and the safety of His covering as we face trials.
