ACTS of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the central figure in the Book of Acts. This wonderful book not only reveals the beginnings of the early Church, it uncovers how the early believers triumphed in the face of bitter persecution. From their example, we learn how to share with those who have not yet trusted Christ as their Savior and how to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lesson 9
Acts 11:1-12:24. As the church grew to include the Gentiles, despite the hesitant response of some, they went into a time of persecution. James had been killed, Peter arrested, and it seemed as if the Church was “on the run”; but God was about to change all that!
