One of the core principles at the Hilti Foundation is that everyone has the right to a self-determined life. Through their work in the field of Economic Empowerment, the Hilti Foundation aims to ensure that all people have the opportunity to develop the skills they need to earn a living. In this episode we’ll explore the ways in which the Foundation partners with Hand in Hand International to deliver skills-based training, community-driven banking and other mechanisms that support economic development for individuals experiencing poverty.

The Hilti Foundation champions the idea that adequate housing is a human right and that a safe place to call home is a prerequisite for social and economic development. In today's episode we are connecting with partners from Habitat for Humanity International and the Base Bahay Foundation to learn more about the issues surrounding sub-standard housing and the ways in which the Hilti Foundation is working to make a difference.
