I loved It

As much as I enjoyed the 1st book in the Redemption series I loved this book. I laughed so often and Lucy Rivers brought this story to life just as she did in the 1st book. This was worth the wait and purchase.

Not In My Corner

I wanted to like this since reading the blurb but unfortunately, it lacks depth. The heroine never clicked for me. Then we get to this abrupt ending. Everything that seemed so difficult was suddenly fixed within just a few lines. There was potential but sadly, it was never reached.

disappointing indeed!

The story was very shallow. Characters lacked depth and the heroine was childish in the manner she kept pushing the hero away and then pulling him back in. Bipolar acting in almost every scene in response to him. And then Sarah Castille decides to end the story and all of a sudden the mystery as to how to beat this huge and powerful law firm becomes child's play. It is all fixed within just a few lines in the book and the world is put to rights again while the heroine is almost over night able to accept love in her life. Ugh. I am glad this book is over but I am disappointed that so much potential for this book went down the tube so fast. I was really looking forward to reading this book.

Absolutley loved this story!!

With the market currently flooded with MMA fighter novels and me being a relatively picky rlistener, it takes something above and beyond to keep me reading this type of novel these days. Oh, and I am a big fan of MMA so I get kind of twitchy when its not done right. Sarah Castille has done it right and then some

Amanda is a junior associate in a high-powered and powerful law firm and she is absolutely on track to become partner and finally earn her parents approval. She has gone above and beyond what is expected of her, sacrificed every free moment of her life and, made sure her behavior and demeanor are above reproach. Outside of the office, Amanda has a delightful friend with benefits and a box full of pro bono cases that she actually does cherish. In all, Amandas life is going exactly the way she planned it and then in the blink of an eye it is all taken from her. In a fit of anger and absolute betrayal, one of the senior partners at her law firm and, coincidentally her fathers best friend threatens to expose Amandas relatively naughty private life is she doesnt sleep with him.
