PART 2  Part 2 of interview with Gary Meece

I had my dear pal Poseidon from the very funny blog Poseidons Underground as my co-host. We were delighted to have the very busy Kathy Garver, best known as Cissy in Family Affair. Kathy started acting at three years old. She was in some pretty big flicks. She was the double for Pearl, the adorable tyke being menaced by one of my dreamboats Robert Mitchum In Night Of The Hunter Kathy was in the boat scene when they are floating away from their moms murderer and their fiendish stepfather. She told us about her memories of Robert Mitchum, Charles Laughton, who directed this film and never directed again. Also we head what a sweetie Lillian Gish was. It was not well received at the time but today it is considered a great film and that Charles Laughton did a great job. The cinematography was amazing. Then she told us about her scene in The Bad Seed she did with Shelley Fabares calling Rhoda (Patty McCormick) a murderer. The scene got cut. She was devastated and her mom wisely told her the scene was too good and they did not want them upstaging Rhoda. It worked. After The Bad Seed she played a slave girl in The Ten Commandments and told us about the actors there. We finally got To Family Affair. WE talked Brian Keith AKA as Uncle Beeeyooooo. Sebastian Cabot and the adorable cherubs Buffy and Jody. Poseidon told us he does not write sad stuff but did for Family Affair. We talked the amazing guest stars, Ida Lupino, Myrna Loy (who Knew) and Heather Angel as Mr French's veddy english nanny Miss Haverstraw. I taled to Poseidon on an earlier podcast that the saddest major fiml actor on one of the shows was Dana Andrews. He appeared as a Friend of Beeyooooo and they moppets found out he was in the slammer for a bit for stealing money from his company. The horror part was Buffy and Jody decide to hide their piggy banks from Dana, the thief..Poor Dana had to watch these two kids talking about him as they hide their piggy banks. His face.. Kathy had to leave us after a half an hour so Poseidon and me talked more about some of these things.I want to thank Kathy Garver for taking time out of her busy squedule to come on the show.Thanks Poseidon for being a great co-host. Mostly our listeners. His blog is ten years old and has a treasure trove of fun articles and pictures from blasts from our pasts. He likes to touch on a lot of the lesser known stars as well as the biggies. He told us about his Technical Difficulties, some blog tales and lots more. We had a lot of fun

Then we got a call from the adorable Stephen Zsucs from Sustainable Joes. He told us what was new in sustainability and was calling uson his cell phone just down the street. Alas, our meeting was not to be. He will be on again talking about Sustainable clothes. He is a cutie. Sustainable Joe's is a great website full of positive things and you can listen to their podcast too.

WE spoke to Peter Anthony Holder from his show the Stuph Files. He also wote a great book of celebs he's interviewed in the past It's called Great Conversations: MY INTERVIEWS WITH TWO MEN ON THE MOON AND A GALAXY OF STARS. Peter was our second guest on the show so we caught up on whats new?? He told us about outer space, his fave interview, what my new dreamboat Efrem Zimbalist Jr was like. It might suprise you. We also talked about Ed Asner, who just recently stated he once when on a 'real date" with Mary Tyler Moore, not just a "reel date". Unfortunately PAH never got to know how that went. 

We then went onto a 70's , 60's classic TV quiz, each of us asking the other two a question. Donnie asked a characters name from Jersey Boys The Movie..HMMM Wasnt that out in 2016??.Gotta love him for getting that in there but huh??

It was blasst from the past for Grace. First up we talked to my old grammar school pal Jeff Patterson. I had not seen or spoken to him since 8th grade graduation, I want to stroll through memory lane but Donnie wants the facts, only the facts. We talk his sci fi podcast and ask the question that been on everyones mind...IS IT TRUE THAT JEFF IS AN ALIEN...We never really got an answer..Hmmmmmm.

Next up was author Ted Larkins. We talked about his book Get To Be Happy:Stories And Secrets To Loving The S**t out of life. I could swer my mom was his ghost writer. He was fun and gave us lots of tips on how to be happy. Instead of saying I HAVE to wash the dishes say I GET to wash the dishes. Hence, I'm alive and therefore I get to wash the dishes.. Like I said he was great fun and filled with advice.

Donnie and I had a great time with Susan Shumsky. She was so honest and funny about her times with the diminutive Guru. She was a groovy flower child in the late 60's as she made her way to Haight Ashbury to be in the free love, no shave your pits or gams  time of possibilities. Susan was a seeker and when she found out about TM and after seeing the Maharishi she was hooked FOR THIRTY YEARS. I found myself pretty mad at how Maharishi treated Susan. Find out about the maharishi's incredible sense of smell, his dealings with the Beatles and Mia Farrow also how John came to write the song Sexy Sadie. We had a great time talking to Carla Feagen author of the book A Life Worth Living:The Journey Of An Authentic Soul. She tells about overcoming the darkness in her past and feeling unworthy of love and attention. She takes us on her journey to becoming an authentic soul. She also takes us on her journey on a nude cruise. She had to take it all off to go on the cruise. The Captains and cruise workers had clothes on. At the Captains dinner they had to wear something. Some wore lingerie, others bathing suits. We talk muffs or no muffs, bare sweaty butts on chairs, and the difference of HPV versus HIV...just joshing..It was a fun interview and Carla was great. We talk to Gil Valle better known as Cannibal Cop. He joined us in studio. He looks like your average nice guy from Queens, not some monster wanting to cook and eat women. We wondered if we should have him on but decided it was a fascinating story and who better then him to tell it. He talks about his trial, his fetish that we both find repugnant, but there are countless others out there on fetish net that have the same thoughts. He tells us of one theory a shrink had on what made him find eating women sexually arousing. The jury convicted him, not for an actual crime he committed, they found him guilty because they thought he would commit a crime. He was also found guilty of accessing a woman information on police data base. He could have been sent to jail for life for the jury thinking he would commit a crime. This was highly publicized and the verdict was very controversial. This case is now being discussed in law schools everywhere. Can we be found guilty because we MIGHT commit a crime. Is this the thought police?? We just let him tell his story. ​Thanks so much to Gil for coming in and telling his side of the story.

WE had a great time talking to medium Veronica Drake. I found her through her work on the www.channelingErik website. Its fascinating. WE talk how she first discovered she had the gift. When she accepted it and was not afraid of it. Veronica also helps police with cold cases. She did a reading for me and she knew things no-one knows. There is no way she could have found the info on google. I have never written about it. I was mighty impressed. I loved when I spilled wine and Veronica told me a glass of wine too. My kinda gal. I fell in love. Donnie was great as usual and we had a really fun, yet at times serious show. Really good listen.We thank you all so much for tuning in.
