Faith begins with revelation and it is fulfilled in obedience

Hebrews 11v13 - "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth."

Faith is how we access what God makes available by grace

The Word of God in your heart and the value you place on it is what gives you victory over fear

2 Timothy 1v7 - "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind"

Fear is not of God. it causes us to take flight and abandon the faith process needed to access what God has freely given to us

Joshua 1v8 - "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

The transition between hearing the Word and prospering in it is Meditation

Matthew 6v25 - "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"

- Don't elevate the basic needs of life and the value of riches above the word of God

Psalm 119v130 - "The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple."

Understanding comes by meditation

Luke 8v11 - "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God"

Just as a seed is intended to grow and bear fruit, the Word of God we encounter is intended to produce an outcome in our lives.

John 15v4 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me"

In order to bear fruit in Christ we must abide in Him. Also, the key to bearing more fruit is pruning

John 15v2 - "Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit."
