This gathering features Ross Murray  - LGBTQ+ activist, The Naming Project founder, GLAAD senior director, pioneering youth advocate and author. Join us as we think together about how to include and celebrate the gifts of LGBTQ+ young people in faith spaces, including our own.   For those who haven't joined in with Inclusive Gathering Birmingham before or are part of another faith community - you are very welcome. If this is something you see as an area of growth (or a dream for) your context, then please do feel very much invited to get in touch.

We continue our series exploring the stories that Jesus told - why he told them, who he told them TO and what (if anything) we might learn from them now.   Danielle talks about the story Jesus told in Luke 11:5-10 which is known as the Parable of the Friend in Need or the Parable of the Persistent Neighbour. We'll take time to reflect on prayer and the feelings of disappointment with God that many of us have experienced.

We will be continuing our series exploring the stories that Jesus told - why he told them, who he told them TO and what (if anything) we might learn from them now.  Father Luke Larner (a minister, activist and former builder) will be helping us reflect on the story Jesus told about the wise and foolish builders (Luke 6:47-49).

Join us for songs, stories, prayers and a reflection on one of Jesus' apocalyptic stories. Today Faith helps us get our heads around the story Jesus told of the watchers at the gate (Mark 13:34-37).
