REEEEEEEEE!!! Well Mechfans, you can't have a podcast called Incoming Missile and not tackle the debate around Long Range Missiles. That's right, in Episode 13 (unlucky for some), Capn Cat and Cozened Indigo are weighing in on the LRM debate. Now in typical IMP fashion, we're trying to tackle the issue in a way that considers both sides of the conversation, so firstly we equip our ECM and we talk about why LRMs are so widely hated. We then flip to 'Disrupt' and brave LRMargeddon to discuss why LRMs might not be as big a problem as they are made out to be. Lastly, we talk about the changes PGI are planning to make to (and around) the weapon system in the March 2019 patch and what impacts they might have. So whether you're a LRM-hater like Capn Cat, or a LRM-apologist like Cozened Indigo, we think there'll be something for you in this episode. And remember, this is the start of the conversation on LRMs, not the end, so be sure to provide us your thoughts and feedback on this controversial topic! We'll collate your opinions and do a second episode to discuss, post the March 2019 changes. The Martial Olympiad Reborn tournament has been running for a week now and this is the second weekly update where we run through all of the action that’s happened or is going to happen and keeping you up to date on what’s happening in the tournament.

The Martial Olympiad Reborn tournament kicked off earlier this week, and this is the first weekly update where we run through all of the action that’s happened or is going to happen and keeping you up to date on what’s happening in the tournament.

February 28, 2019 Episode 12 - MWO Comp (Martial Olympiad Reborn)
Competitive MWO has a new home! MWO Comp is the newest player-run league of competitive play and the first tournament they're launching in the Martial Olympiad Reborn!
In Episode 12, we’ve got one of the co-organizers with us, Krasnopesky of JGx, who alongside JustcallmeASH and Live1991 are driving the organization and administration of the league. In the episode we ask Kras to explain the general rules and format associated with the tournament, including the structure of the drops, map-banning and scoring. Kras and Capn Cat also go a little in to what type of drop decks and strats we might see. We also touch on the prizes that are on offer for players and viewers, what the coverage of the tournament will look like, and of course all the contact points you can go to to help find the information you want on the tournament itself.
