Ahhh shit son! Scary Movie 6 deep dive is here, that’s right; a 2026 Scary Movie exists! Shortie’s back, Ray’s back, Brenda’s back, Cindy’s back! Jaime and I are also back to discuss our theater trip first viewing opinions, the many comparisons the franchise still makes to the SCREAM franchise, returning cast mixed with new cast, where this ranks in the overall franchise for us, which jokes worked or didn’t, plus a little game from Jaime at the end. The first monthly update of August consists of one major recommendation; not to anybody’s surprise- it’s the biggest movie currently in theaters! I share some of my backstory growing up and falling in love with said movie/character, plus some spoiler free opinions, and even an anniversary recommend or two at the end. The penultimate installment of this year’s franchise dive Scary Movie edition is here! Scary Movie 5 deep dive starts with Jaime and I’s initial reactions to the film, the massive amounts of films-horror or not-spoofed throughout, celebrity appearances we enjoyed; plus some tangents on: the making of The Evil Dead(1981), bass guitars, Whiplash, other movie biopics, and much much more!
