God's word as given to mankind provides the wisdom needed to live life in a right relationship with Him. Being who He is He can do no other than exactly, precisely, and perfectly what He has said or revealed. That being so His word provides for us the correction and adjustments that need to be made to live and enjoy the life He has given. At the end of life there will be a reckoning so it is fitting and necessarily to be taken seriously that this book ends with the admonition and warning to live now, fearing God and obeying Him, and then will come judgment for each person to give an account of their lives as lived out.

God is just as clear in laying out His plan and provision of justification of the sinner as He is the sanctification. Both are a part and parcel of the gift package of salvation given as a free gift by God to those who have put their faith in Christ Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The transforming sanctification of the believer begins with the new birth and indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Believers then begin living the new life becoming the person God created them to be. Excuses for sin as worldly appeasements of a guilty conscience and all forms of behavior modification all fail and thwart the supernatural transforming work of the Spirit because they only generate a cover-up with external changes, not being generated by the new inner self by means of the Holy Spirit's work and power through the Word. Sin tolerated, excused, or entertained will always be destructive and dangerous to a believer thwarting spiritual growth, service to the Lord and worship of Him. Such reminders and emphasis cannot be overstated, according to what God has said in His word.

Life as it is meant to be in our world as it is, begins when a right relationship with the Creator of this world is established. Living out that relationship will then continue by learning and putting into practice the wisdom given by God to enjoy life. The ongoing reminder given in the wisdom of God is that this life with all of its circumstances and matters at hand is brief and passing. So too are the difficulties and struggles that come as the physical aging effects set in. Remembering our Creator is in full control with full knowledge will serve those well who have a personal relationship with Him and having begun, continue to live this life by faith in Him, putting His words of wisdom into practice. The consequences of sin and living in a sinful world that are endured by the believer are also a reminder of the seriousness of sin and the greatness of the salvation God has provided.

Adam explains how sin came into our situation in this world. Christ explains how righteousness came be credited to sinners in this world. The action of the one impacts all, very different acts with very different results. Christ made an unlimited provision with an application to benefit each individual by personal faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is the means of receiving the free gift of eternal life. Our limited knowledge of tomorrow should not paralyze nor cause fear and dread. God's people live wisely doing what they do know about God and from His word while trusting the unknown to Him. Wisdom continues to gain knowledge from God's word and then knows how to make the right and appropriate application. With that approach through the many and various circumstances of the day, the benefits, blessings, and advantages of the time will be appropriated and put to use as God has given and intended. The days God has given are to be enjoyed, not merely endured and His grace will be on display to enable, empower, and provide.

With Adam, his one act of disobedience impacted all, the whole human race. With Christ, His one act of obedience impacted all, the whole human race as both, were representative heads of the human race. Death came to all, including Adam, because of his sin. The penalty of sin, which is death, was paid by Christ by His death, the fullness of the payment guaranteed by His resurrection. The payment was made for all in the likeness of the sin of Adam. The application of the benefit of the death of Christ to each individual sinner is by personal faith in His person and work.

Wisdom is better than folly but is no guarantee of the anticipated outcome for those living in a fallen world. Sin can disrupt righteous efforts but always and only as God allows who ultimately is in control of that outcome. The choice of righteous wisdom will always be pleasing to God and not compound the disruption and effects of the folly and evil that is an ongoing pressure. The fool will be self-destructive in the long run of their life under the sun. The wise will have the will and control of God to bring them through the trials and to the hope-filled life God has promised.

God's love has been demonstrated and His love makes certain all the promises to His children to those who have received the free gift of eternal life. Hearing and believing the gospel is the means God is using in the world today to save people from eternal hell. When the simple message of the gospel is set aside, made an add-on to moral or self-improvement, or the message changed in any way, people are not saved. Man cannot save man, only God can and that He does individually by faith in Jesus Christ.--A very important discussion follows this message concerning current contrary ways and means being carried out by many in the professing church today.

Life in our fallen world is difficult. Difficult for believers as well as unbelievers as the effects of sin are experienced through human and cosmic events. Man has not been delegated with the responsibility to change, save, or restore the world to its original or even a better condition. That God will do in His time and His way. Today man is to live in a right relationship with Him made possible by the salvation provided by means of faith in Jesus Christ. Those who have began a life of faith by faith in Christ are to live to be pleasing to Him, enjoy life with Him, and have pleasure in living. Believers do not live for pleasure but are to have pleasure in living. God has told us how and provided the the wisdom necessary to do so.

The multifaceted benefits of the justification provided by God through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to those who believe in Him is discussed. Blessings for living a new life in a right relationship with God begin at the moment of belief and will continue through eternity.
