It’s playoff time and Bob & Greg are back to talk about the first week of the IHSAA Football Postseason. We start the show off with talking about Southwood’s COVID scare and the absolutely wild series of events that came after. Then we recap a few games, including Southwood vs. Northfield, Tri-West vs. Indian Creek, Guerin Catholic vs West Lafayette, and East Central vs. Silver Creek. Greg also presents the possibility that the 2020 season may lead to more teams leaving their conference. Before closing out this podcast, we preview a few of the upcoming games, including Southwood vs. Caston, Pike vs. Carmel, both Sectional 3 matchups, Northwood vs. Leo, and East Central vs. Mooresville.

The IHSAA football playoffs are underway, but before we get in playoff mode, we have to recap a few games from week 9. We start with the game of the week in Indiana, Center Grove and Cathedral before Bob covers his game between Southwood and Tippecanoe Valley and Greg recaps his game between Ben Davis and North Central. Greg and Bob are back to recap week 8 of the IHSAA regular season.
Greg starts us off with a recap of Center Grove’s comeback win over Lawrence North (1:03), he also looks back at some other historic Indiana teams to find who they can best be compared to (6:07) before previewing Center Grove’s final game of the regular season against Cathedral (7:11) and Bob recaps Maconaquah’s comeback win over Wabash (11:13). Looking ahead to next week, we preview the matchups between Southwood & Tippecanoe Valley (12:41) and Ben Davis & North Central (13:40). Finally, now that postseason pairings are out, we take a look at some of the early matchups that stick out the most (17:38).

We start off this week with some belated birthday wishes for Bob (0:12) before he recaps how Southwood remained undefeated by beating Peru (0:52) and Greg recaps Lawrence North’s first victory over Warren Central in 15 years (4:30). Greg also takes a few minutes to preview Lawrence North vs. Center Grove (8:04) before they both take a look at some of the top Week 7 headlines for the Fort Wayne area (9:55) and how some last-minute COVID schedule changes have affected schools (12:37).Then we start with the bracket talk, we start with how wide open 6A is in the northern half (14:10) and talk about some areas of interest to watch during the bracket reveal on Thursday (17:14). We also recap some other Week 7 games worth talking about (19:25) preview some of the power schools in the southern half of the bracket (21:20). Before closing the podcast, we talk about how the shortened season might affect schools, and we preview Week 8 (27:38).

Week 6 of the Indiana High School Football season is done and Greg and Bob are back to recap the action.

Bob starts us off with a recap of Wabash’s homecoming game against Northfield (1:24) before taking a look at the Norsemen’s chances in their sectional (2:18). Then Greg recaps the Week 6 game between Carmel and North Central (3:58) before giving an overview of the MIC (4:48) and forecast the rest of the season for the Greyhounds (5:34). Greg also takes a look at Lawrence North and their overtime win against Ben Davis (8:07).
