It’s almost the holiday season, so we go to Santa Claus and WAXL’s Steve Kolb to get the rundown on Heritage Hills’ loss to Roncalli. Despite a huge blowout, there were plenty of storylines to discuss. The head coach of the Westfield Shamrocks, Josh Miracle, talks about his team's road trip to Fort Wayne Caroll and how they came away with a win to advance to the state championship. Another notable road win Friday night was South Putnam against Milan. His team beat Concord 41-14, and he discusses the major plays in the game while also looking forward to the state championship game against New Palestine.

It’s semi-state Friday in the IHSAA State Playoffs and Indiana Sports Talk has all the coverage you need! Coach Bob Lovell gets the show started by talking to Greg Rakestraw of the ISC Sports Network. Rakestraw covered Brownsburg’s 31-0 win over Warren Central. What does the shutout say about the Bulldogs and how were they able to get back to Lucas Oil Stadium next week? Plus, Rakestraw and Lovell discuss their longtime coverage of the IU Indy Jaguars and their season after their loss Friday afternoon. Then Greg comments on the Colts upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs. To round out the hour, Brendan King talks the upcoming sports weekend with coach Lovell before Pat Boylan of the Pacers radio network calls in to discuss the Pacers 120-109 loss in Clevland to the Cavaliers.

The final hour of Indiana Sports Talk continues with the UIndy Greyhounds head coach Chris Keevers celebrating his team's win over Upper Iowa, clinching the GLVC title. He also looks forward to the Division II NCAA tournament selection show and who the Greyhounds might host in the playoffs. The Pacers conversation continues with Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files, who tries to put into context the Pacers worst start in franchise history. He also looks forward to the schedule ahead for the Blue and Gold. Head coach of the DePauw Tigers Brett Dietz makes his appearance on the show to go in-depth on his team’s win in the Monon Bell game. He talks about his team’s growth over the course of the season and how it showed up in Saturday’s victory. Paul Condry of the Regional Radio Sports network and author of the Indiana Football Digest makes his weekly Saturday night appearance to talk about Myles McLaughlin continuing his national record-setting pace for Knox, other games around the state that caught his eye, the high-scoring affairs, Milan’s Cinderella run so far, Merrillville vs Michigan City and how they matchup against Concord, the chalk that has persisted through class 2A and other big games coming up in the semi-state round. Paul also recaps high school basketball from Friday night. Lastly, coach Lovell and Brendan King wrap up the show by rounding up the college football Saturday.

Coach Bob Lovell kicks off the second hour of the show talking about the Indiana Hoosiers’ sluggish start vs Wisconsin with the IU Radio Network’s John Herrick. They overcame it in the second half by blowing out the Badgers 31-7. Herrick provides an amazing Fernando Mendoza stat and describes senior day at Memorial Stadium. Then, he gives an update on Hoosiers' hoops after the second week of play. Then, head coach of Hanover Matt Theobald calls in to talk about his team's rivalry win over Franklin and going up against his mentor in Franklin’s Mike Leonard. Kurt Darling of WMUN in Muncie talks about Ball State dropping their game to Eastern Michigan. Then coach Lovell and Brendan King give some background on the show. Rick Johnston of the ISC Sports Network had a busy day calling IU-Indy Volleyball and women’s basketball and calls in to recap both contests. To wrap up the hour, the TV play-by-play voice of the Indiana Pacers, Chris Denari, joins to reflect on the Pacers' loss to the Raptors Saturday night. Denari also gives an update on the injury report for Aaron Nesmith and Benedict Mathurin.
