Coach and Mark talk about the starting positions of Josef Newgarden, Scott Dixon, and more, as well as Will Power’s chances. Dr. Len Clark from Irish Illustrated calls in to talk about Notre Dame’s shocking 26-21 loss to unranked Marshall. Brad Huber then joins to talk about Ball State losing 37-30 to Western Michigan. They then go over the Indycar scene, and who they think will take home the championship. Howard Kellman, voice of the Indianapolis Indians, calls in to talk the team’s 6-9 loss to Omaha tonight.

Coach Bob Lovell begins this edition of the show by going over the college football games that have taken place around the state, including Notre Dame’s shocking loss. Greg Rakestraw, voice of the Indy Eleven, then calls in to talk the teams 4-3 win over Birmingham. The conversation then turns to the Colts season opener tomorrow against Houston, and how important it is for the team to break its streak of season opening losses. They talk about what players will make the most impact on the Colts tomorrow, specifically on defense, as well as the Colts schedule beyond Week 1.

The final hour begins with the opposite perspective of the Lawrence Central and Warren Central game from earlier as Dan McGowen, who called the game, calls in to discuss the Lawrence Central win. Paul Caundry joined the show to detail Valpraiso’s decisive 35 – 14 win over Michigan City. Mike Scovarel of Evansville Memorial called in and gave praise to Memorial’s 22-6 victory against Evansville Matre Dei. Tyson Moore joined the program and detailed Seymour’s last minute hail marry victory over Flory Central 22 – 15. Coach Moore joined the program and laid out the comeback victory for Center Grove over Ben Davis. Steve Colb of WAXL described the county rivalry of Heritage Hills and South Spencer. Heritage Hill would come out the victor with a score of 55 – 19. Brendan King follows up Colb and talks about the Brownsburg vs. Avon rivalry matchup that took place tonight.

Todd Mason then joins the show and makes sure that Coach Lovell has his email before announcing the East Side win over Churubusco 28 – 6. Kurt Darling reported in New Palestines win over Vernon 42-6. Whiteland’s head coach Darren Fisher was next on the program to go over Whiteland’s defensive masterpiece. IST mainstay John Herrick calls into the show after the Warren Central and Lawrence Central game where Lawrence would emerge victorious 32 – 20. Erick Quintana the head coach of Ronchalli celebrates their victory over Columbus North tonight 38 – 17.

The show opens with Coach Lovell and Update announcer Brad Huber having a back and forth about the upcoming conclusion to the IndyCar season this weekend. Then as high school football games come to a close coaches start calling in. First off was Tim Able celebrating Triton Central’s 41-10 win over Monroevia. Westfield’s Jake Gilbert calls in to give their score after a winning effort over Noblesville, 34-33.

Coach begins the 11 o’clock hour talking about the disappointing conclusion to the Notre Dame game as they ended up losing their lead and falling to Ohio State 21 – 10 with Eddie Garrison giving stats about the game. The two then preview Notre Dame’s upcoming games and where they can rebound from this past performance. The South Bend Cubs play-by-play commentator, Brendan King, calls in to announce that despite losing their game tonight the SB Cubs have made the High-A Minor League Baseball playoffs. King touches on the excitement of making playoffs as a minor league team. Finally, Coach Lovell is joined by Paul Caundry of the IHSAA to go over Friday nights games. Coach and Caundry go over upsets and blowouts as well as how Indiana High School Football stands out above some other states in terms of competitiveness. They then close out by discussing the next week of games, matchups between schools, and what players to watch out for.

Kellman is back in Indy following his MLB debut calling a game for the Indianapolis Indians last night. Next on the program is Greg Rakestraw the voice of the Indy 11. The USL Soccer team finished their game tonight against Detroit City at a 0-0 draw. Lynn Clark calls in to give a live update from the Notre Dame game against Ohio State. The 5th ranked Fighting Irish were trailing the Buckeyes 14-10 at the end of the 3rd quarter. John Herrick of the IU Sports Network then calls in and breaks down the wild game between the Hoosiers and the Illinois Fighting Illini.  Matt Taylor the radio voice of the Indianapolis Colts joins in the show to talk about their season starting next week against the Houston Texans. He discusses how this season has a less dramatic feel than previous ones due to less COVID talk or team drama. Taylor also brings up which Colts he is excited to see on opening day.
