Coach Bob Lovell talked on Indiana Sports Talk, but as a guest this time! Brendan King, the host for tonight, had coach join to talk about Plainfield High School’s Education of Legacy Fund event he was emceeing to raise donations. Coach also gave his thoughts on the current college basketball world, specifically IU losing to Rutgers 38-3. Chris Denari, voice of the Indiana Pacers, joined IST to talk about the victory the Pacers had against the Philadelphia 76ers, 118-113. They mentioned player highlights from that game, including those from Malcolm Brogdon, T.J. McConnell, Justin Holiday and Kelan Martin. Mark Minner, voice of the Butler Bulldogs, then talked with B.K. about the Bulldogs’ victory over the Troy Trojans 70-59, which was good preparation for Butler’s game against Michigan State on November 17. Brendan and Mark, both being Butler alumni, reminisce on the last matchup the Bulldogs had against Michigan State which was their 52-50 win in the Final Four on April 3, 2010. With Evansville Memorial basketball heading to semi state after their victory over East Central 17-14, Mike Skvara of ESPN Radio’s Evansville WREF gave B.K. a rundown of that game which had a walk off field goal. To finish the hour, Dr. Len Clark of Irish 101 discussed what impressed him the most in Notre Dame’s 28-3 win against Virginia, and if the Fighting Irish will have the “luck o’ the Irish” to get in the top four.
