It’s a Saturday edition of Indiana Sports Talk! Coach Bob Lovell kicks things off with Dr. Len Clark of Irish 101 who is battling both the elements at Notre Dame stadium along with his voice which is just about lost. Either way, his resilience and reliability shine through and the Fighting Irish have shown the same characteristics these last few weeks. How are they faring against the Navy Midshipmen? Then, Brian Jennings of the ISU football radio broadcast gives insight into the Sycamores 52-20 loss vs. Illinois State. While the passing game has been effective, the running game continues to be an issue. Jennings discusses where the Sycamores go from here. After the Indiana Hoosiers’ incredible win at Penn State this afternoon, John Herrick of the IU Radio network joins to recap it all. How did Indiana battle through injuries and, of course, Omar Cooper Jr.’s incredible game-winning catch. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza’s toughness shined on the final drive, and John takes us through what it was like to be in Happy Valley Saturday afternoon.

Steve Cole calls in to talk Heritage Hills vs Jasper, 28-8. Big win for them and we heard from their opponents head coach earlier in the show, tune in for a heads up on that game happening soon. Coach Radkey calls in for Knox calls in fired up on their big win. Knox takes on Marion with a big win at 48-18. He talks about his stand-out and where he is off to tomorrow morning. Listen to find out! Paul Condry chimes in with the Michigan City vs Laporte, in a Michigan City win at 28-21. He talks about one RB who had a busy night, hopefully he gets some good rest after a 20+ carries game. Coach Moore from Center Grove, they were able to take on a big win. He is a first time caller, you aren't going to want to miss this! They were able to beat Franklin Central, 30-27. He says that it wasn’t down to the wire, but it was a good game. Brian Sullivan brings us some Evansville North action where they took a tough loss to Floyd Central, 15-10. Look to see what he says about their future.

Greg calls in to talk about some Carmel vs. Westfield. This was a heated midwest match-up. Carmel comes out on top with a close 23-20 win. Greg talks about what to look for moving forward. Mr. Huber calls in for a Lapel and Triton Central, Lapel wins 28-15. Another caller, Dalton Bishop, calls in to talk about Eastbrook vs. Eastern where Eastbrook comes out on top, 31-28. Mr. Cooks calls in to talk about some Roncalli action and gives us a different perspective. We add in some winning coaches in Brian Dugger and Josh Yoder. THey told us how they were able to get this done and how they will prepare for their next match-ups and they are indeed not done yet. Steve starts out our show with some Roncalli vs. Chatard match-up. Roncalli was able to take this in dominant fashion with a score of 26-6. He says they were able to get out early and really stick it to Chatard early and they never recovered. Big penalties were also a saga for Chatard. Dave comes to switch it up with some basketball with Ball State. BSB took on Mansfield with a Ball State win of 84-54. Mr. Eha talks about some stand-outs and what to look out for. Max calls in with a huge win for Indian Creek. They won their sectionals, 49-13 against Scottsburg. He talks about their pregame shenanigans and how they were ankle to start hot and end up calm and easy. He is really proud of his team.
