The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) hosted its first meeting on the Donald Trump era on February 12, 2026.
At the meeting, members of the ACHP discussed a proposal to revise the federal government's Section 106 regulations. The regulations require tribal consultation whenever development projects affect cultural, historic and sacred sites.
