Money Mike Willis of Hope Day out against crime on JUNE 16TH will join us to Start Breaking The Cycle Of Violence TOGETHER. He will speak on this event which aims to encourage character building, inspire families, influence the community to tap into their own talents, bring awareness to local family health, change the cycle of illiteracy, fund after school programs, restore jobs for the homeless and decrease crime among other things. EVIE RHODES was born in Newark, New Jersey. She authored the critically acclaimed novel, Expired. Black Issues Book Review called Rhodes a master writer, gifted and skillful. Romantic Times Book Review said her work holds the reader’s attention as if the pages are magnetized. Evie is now taking her first step into theater with the workshop production of her stage play, Looking Through the Stained Glass Window. It is a witty and illuminating coming-of-age story about Crystal Waterman a forgotten, Black, female voice in 1992 during the AIDS epidemic. The explosive portrayal explores the cyclical effects of trauma and addiction through reflection and humor in the middle of Harlem’s Hip Hop era. Evie Rhodes is a Social Activist at heart, and her many works speak to her love of humanity.

Melody Wilson hails from Fairmont, North Carolina. Having been molested and raped by her biological father at the age of 13 years old, her life went completely wayward for 20 years until she started her recovery at the age of 33. Since then she has been successfully doing her own recovery for the past 12 years. In the process she has obtained her BS in Psychology, MA in Professional Counseling, and currently in a doctoral program. She has a video on YouTube that has spawned her movement in the eradication of sexual violation called “He was my dad. He was my first. R@pe Culture hurts.” In the process of completing her studies she has used her skills of life coaching and counseling to help people from all over the world; women, men, and children who contact her based on her video. She has an online survivor’s group with 800 people. She has created her a jumpstart to recovery psychoeducational class, which has helped many as well. She has appeared on two television shows, The Rock Newman Show a Howard University affiliate out of Washington, DC, and a German television show called TaffTV. She has appeared on various radio programs including hosting one of her own and she has done numerous public speaking engagements. She has also performed with several bands as their front singer from as far north as Massachusetts, and as far south as Georgia. She has worked with prominent artists alongside them as writer, and background singer. Her primary mission and purpose is to serve God and his people in whatever capacity he/she would have her do it. Her force is simply love.

Sylvana Barfield is a multi-faceted entrepreneur with three businesses geared towards building up the whole person. These include Grace Waters, LLC (Motivational Speaking/Writing), Fit Bodies Nutrition and Fitness, LLC, and Simply Elegant by Paparazzi Jewelry. She handles all three businesses in addition to working a full-time job, maintaining a happy marriage, and engaging in church activities. It is her life's goal to inspire, encourage, motivate, uplift, and push others into the pursuit of their passions and dreams while living her own.

Originally hailing from the coveted Fordham section of the New York City borough, The Bronx, Inf was

destined to be a hip-hop ambassador from early on. Upon hearing his very first rap record, it was most

definitely a “love at first listen” situation for Inf. At the time when hip-hop was still young, fresh and new,

Inf began to try his hand at DJing. Initially, he began by blending his father’s Soul records with hip-hop

instrumentals purchased from the local record stores. That was how his pocket change would become

familiar with being spent. With his mixes becoming more familiar around the borough, Inf acquired a

strong neighborhood following. With this growing demand, Inf’s freestyle mixes suddenly became valued

and highly requested. Remaining true and loyal to the Music Game, Inf vowed to bring fun and quality music back from an overly-saturated medium that is smeared in “poli-tricks”. Inf returned to the roots from which he had

steadily blossomed, and hosted a series of Mixtapes with M.O.P. entitled, “All Out War”. Armed with an ar my of musical arsenal,manned with faithful music vets that he had accumulated along the way, Inf found himself fully locked andloaded with a dope collection of exclusive, unreleased material. Now that Inf was equipped with the experience  and exposure he needed to take his craft up to the nextlevel, now came the heavy task of maintaining a “fan first” mentality, especially during his numerousinterviews and Press Junkets. Presently, Big Inf has released his second album project, New Industry. This dope effort boasts incredible flow and symmetry, and has been well-rounded throughout with features and “collabos” fromsuch notables as, Ali Vegas, Chris Rivers (Big Pun’s Son), Roc Nation’s UFO Fev, Smif N’ Wessun,Cristion Dior, to name a few.
