Nicolina is an American singer, songwriter, and internationally published model. Her stage name is a tribute to her late grandmother, “Nonna”, who influenced her love and passion for music at a young age. She is known for her warm and effortless tone, blended with a heavy jazz influence, she uses a combination of elements from all genres to create her unique sound. She is inspired and influenced heavily by Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, and Rihanna.
Born in Winter Park, Florida, Nicolina started her musical journey during her early years while learning the piano. Gaining attention from self-released cover videos on social media platforms, Nicolina began to take her career seriously. In 2014 she stepped into her first professional studio and fell in love with music all over again. At the beginning of 2016, her life took an unexpected turn after the passing of her Nonna just a month prior, came her first industry opportunity. Within the same year she performed at Rolling Loud and sold out her first headlining show in Orlando, FL. In the following year she was featured on Shade 45’s New Artist Spotlight with Lord Sear, toured with 104.5 The Beat, and opened for artists like Trina and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

In 2018, Nicolina had the opportunity to appear on FOX’s The Four: Battle for Stardom and although she knew this wasn’t her path she followed the executive guidance, performing on Season 1 Episode 4. Inspired from her experience on the show, Nicolina took the step forward and demanded her full creative control. After an unexpected change in management, the Nicolina brand began shifting the creative focus to be more organic and with this came a fresh perspective for the young singer. Having come to understand her perceived calling as the voice for the voiceless within her generation, Nicolina has continued utilizing key examples drawn from her own life experience. Though shared emotional semblance, Nicolina discloses her own struggles, fears and insecurities in the hope of inspiring universal connection with her followers. After relocating to Los Angeles, Nicolina released her most honest and self-reflective work to-date, entitled “Caution”, she opened the doors for her genuine sound and who she is as an artist.
