An interview with Wiradjuri man Ben Bowen, who is the CEO of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, which recently has been awarded the 2024 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. On this episode of Indigenuity we chat to Gomeroi artist Clare Jaque Vasquez, whose paintings capture stories and weaving practices in raised textural form on her canvases, utilising layering to embed and protect stories, and whose work is being featured in the exhibition ‘The Women's Show’ at Vivien Anderson Gallery in St Kilda from 20th March to 27th April. The second interview is with Martu author Karen Wyld, whose most recent work; The Rocks Remain: Blak poetry and story, is a collection of poetry and prose, in which twenty-five Aboriginal writers share narratives that embody strength of family and community; love found and lost; honouring Elders and Ancestors; asserting sovereignty; and envisioning Blak futures.

Kystal De Napoli speaks to Dr Katrina Wruck, a Mabuigilaig/Goemulgal Torres Straight Islander Woman, with a focus researching innovative and green solutions for industrial problems, from mining waste to detergent.

A conversation with Dr Katrina Wruck, who hails from the Mabuigilaig nation of Mabuiag Island in the Torres Strait and is an early career researcher with a passion for finding innovative, green solutions for industrial problems. Her cross-disciplinary research encompasses knowledge from the fields of industrial chemistry, process engineering, and materials science, which she uses to deliver high-tech, green chemistry-based solutions for the transition to cleaner adsorption technologies.
