Tom helps businesses succeed, especially when they consider expanding into international markets.
Although our discussion is primarily about business, we spend time comparing notes about international travel, which apart from being a fulfilling experience, exposes various incidences which we can reflect on with an element of education and humor.
In an attempt to "fit in" with the locals in foreign lands, there are culture adjustments and mannerisms to consider, which instils a feeling of trust and friendship, key ingredients for a successful business partnership.
Acceptance, tolerance, social behavior, willingness, enthusiasm, honesty, are good traits when abroad, but sampling the local food and drink is also admirable. And yes, you could be eating an animal that you would not normally consider or think repulsive.
It's all good and mostly fun.
