Andrew Smith reaches into the vault for two favorite interviews with guests at Indy Fuel games. Dave Hanson of the Hanson Brothers played one season for the Indianapolis Checkers as part of a long pro hockey career, which of course, also included a starring role in the hockey movie Slapshot. Dave Christian was part of the gold medal-winning 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team and also a former player for the Indianapolis Ice.

Take a trip down memory lane as Bruce Affleck, who played four years with the Indianapolis Checkers, joins Andrew Smith. Bruce helped lead the Checkers to two Adams Cup titles and was CHL playoff MVP in 1983. He also was the CHL's Defenseman of the Year three times, the league MVP in his final season, and a veteran of 280 NHL games.

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Collin Delia joins Voice of the Fuel Andrew Smith for this edition of Under the Hood. Delia began his professional career with the Fuel in 2017 and won his first professional game in Indy. Later that season, he made - and won - his NHL debut with the Blackhawks.

Indy Fuel head coach/general manager Doug Christiansen joins Andrew for an update on the 2019 offseason and a look ahead to 2019-20.

Rod Davidson, who coached the Indianapolis Ice to the Central Hockey League's Miron Cup championship in 2000, joins Andrew for a conversation about his three seasons in Indianapolis and what he's been doing since.

Newly-signed Indy Fuel defender Tim Shoup joins Andrew for this look Under the Hood with the Fuel. Shoup played for head coach Doug Christiansen with the Manchester Monarchs last season, and is returning to Indy after playing junior hockey here in 2013-14.
