Julian Assange who helped setup Wikileaks and in one of the first set of leaks revealed the murderous campaign of the US military against innocent civilians in Iraq amongst many other leaks showing the systematic criminality and inhumanity of the US government was betrayed this morning by the right wing corrupt president Lenin Moreno of Ecuador. Former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa – whose government granted Assange asylum in 2012 – branded his more pro-US successor Lenin Moreno the “greatest traitor in Ecuadorian history” for rescinding the asylum claim and allowing British officers to enter his country’s embassy.

At the moment in a damage limitation exercise to try and shutdown support for Assange the corporate press is saying if charged, he could face up to 5 years in prison. This is to make it not so bad, but we can be 100% sure if deported to the USA, they will have a long list of dubious charges and most likely will give him a prison sentence that will more than easily cover the rest of his lifespan for that is the way of such regimes.

Recent discussions about the safety or otherwise of having the US military flying in and out of Shannon Airport gave us reason to recall an incident in March 2008 in which a Murray Air aircraft was involved in an emergency landing at Shannon. This was after it was seen flying over Askeaton, which is across the River Shannon estuary from the airport, with flames coming from one of its engines. Residents of the County Limerick town described their windows rattling and houses shaking as the cargo plane flew low over a housing estate in the town.

On the afternoon of June 8th 2016 in Dublin there will be a briefing on CapGlobalCarbon. CapGlobalCarbon is a proposal for non-governmental actors to create a new global system to

(a) make sure the necessary reductions in total global carbon emissions are achieved

(b) reduce emissions in a way that also reduces poverty and inequality.

The system would operate as a back-up to the inter-governmental negotiations and provide vital reinforcement to community-led climate initiatives worldwide.

The purpose of this afternoon is to brief attendees on the proposal, set it in a context of the commons and social justice, and to generate ideas about how to implement CapGlobalCarbon.

The big man protecting the little woman. That explains the sexist picture dominating the Irish Times front page on 23 October, of Taoiseach Enda Kenny looking out for Mairia Cahill.

In our patriarchal society men hold the material and physical upper hand. Women often fight back with emotional and psychological weapons. These are being exploited in this fight, but not by men on the one side and women on the other, but by men and women on both sides.

The spouse of First Minister Peter Robinson, Iris, was in an exploitative relationship with a younger man. He is forgotten (I forget his face and name), while Mrs Robinson was publicly rehabilitated by President Mary McAleese and the Queen of England at a live televised public event in Dublin. She received therapy and expiated her sins, while he was left to his own devices. Who cares, f**k him.

Michel Chossudovsky interviewed on the Guns and Butter show clearly outlines the ISIS is a tool of the Western governments.

In the show he states the obvious:

emEverything indicates this capture of a city of more than 1 million people was staged because it is impossible for a force of 1000 rebels to come in and take over a city of 1 million when it has a standing army of 30,000. It was a very well equipped army and would have decimated those 1000 rebels in no time, with US advanced technology, helicopters and so on.

People have seen this kind of thing before in previous coups by the West such as the attempted coup against Chavez. It was used at the start of the Syria crisis before foreign mercenaries invaded and escalated matters much higher. It is standard operating procedure, dirty tricks 101./em

In this podcast from Guns and Butter the background and motive for the Boston bombings are set out very clearly.

It shows why the govt have set the narrative that this is linked to Chechen terrorists -the very people the CIA trained, sponsored and armed and used to trigger the first Chechen war (in 1994) in which up to 100,000 were killed, in an attempt to destablize and split apart the Russia Federation which they nearly did. Putin

launched the Second Chechen War in 1999 to regain control.

Today though the dollar as a reserve currency is at risk of falling as both China and Russia have been secretly buying thousands of tonnes of gold and trying to get rid of their dollar reserves and setup their own bi-lateral arrangements. When the plug is pulled on the dollar it will impoverish much of the US population since they import so much including oil and the price of these imports will sky rocket as the dollar value collapses. This is not necessarily something that will happen tomorrow but it is on the cards and the Chinese and Russians and many others do are sick of being ripped off by the dollar which the USA prints for free and it particularly elks them because the US essentially gets all these imports for free and is thus able to use this wealth or borrowed money to launch so many wars that goes directly against the interests of so many countries.

Thus as in the lead up to the Iraq War where the image of Bin Laden after 9/11 was slowly shown less frequently in the media whilst that of Saddam Hussein slowly increased till it replaced it and unfortunately a significant number of Americans came to believe Saddam was responsible for 9/11 and hence that justified the war.

And so we are now going to still get the narratives that all terrorists are Muslims but over the next few months / years this will change from Arab type Muslims to Chechen Muslims and since Chechen is part of the Russian Federation then quite clearly the implication will be that Putin is behind the terrorists. And that will be the pretext to build up the rhetoric and military to threaten Russia once again the hope somehow that they stall or delay the dollar collapse

The above is not actually covered in the interview perhaps due to the finite time available but it will give some context to the interview itself.

We must remember once again and it is pointed out in the interview and we now it from recent press coverage that:

John Kerry (Secretary of State) met with the Syrian Opposition leader in Turkey a few weeks back and brought money and said this was for Al Nussa militia (who used it to buy weapons) and are part of the so called Syria opposition who openly swore its loyalty to Al Qaeda. So how can you be sponsoring and supporting al Qaeda and at the same time allegdly be fighting them? This contradictions are surprisenly hope and you would wonder why, but then as pointed out above, there are many instances of blatant lies but the American public seems so thoroughly ill-informed and lacking in any knowledge with regards worldly events that it is easy to mislead and it works; so why bother try any harder?

Anyhow the podcast is well worth a listen because it brings and connect so many facts and geo-political events together
