Not only was Ellen struggling to become sober, but she was also diagnosed with infertility in the midst of it all. Plummeting farther and farther into the never-ending abyss of addiction. Shame and guilt plagued Ellen not only for her alcoholism but also for not bearing the children her heart desperately desired.
